Devas Keogh James is a firm of solicitors based in Peterborough that deals exclusively with criminal defence work. We represent clients from their detention at the police station through to proceedings before the Magistrates Court, Crown Court and the higher Courts such as the High Court, Court of Appeal and Supreme Court.

We deal with clients who are being investigated for minor road traffic offences up to those who face the most serious offences such as murder, manslaughter and rape.

Our two partners Roy James and Rebecca Keogh have over 30 years of experience between them in criminal defence work. They are supported by an experienced team of solicitors, clerks and administration staff who will ensure that every client is given the best service possible.

Devas Keogh James is regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority and has a contract with the Criminal Defence Service to provide publicly funded advice and representation.
